EMPLOYMENT
2013 – Present | L4 Bar | Bar Staff
I
work in a small team, managing safety of the bar and supervising the costumers.
I work closely with a small team of adults to ensure that strict health and
safety rules are adhered to at all times. Therefore I am able to work well
within a team towards a common goal. This
has given me a greater understanding of how to interact politely and
respectfully with members of the public.
2013 18-26th October | Frequency
festival | Voluntary Host
I
worked with a large team ensuring members of the public entered the gallery and
was able to give them information about the pieces being exhibited. I was also
required to manage the type of people who wanted to enter the gallery, for
example dealing with rude and drunk members of public in a polite but
authoritative manor. Which has given me a greater understanding of how to
communicate with unruly members of the public.
SKILLS
Through
having extensive experience volunteering at Art Festivals and working with
general members of the public, has made me an adaptable and reliable person who
has excellent time keeping skills. I am resourceful and able to follow
instruction down to the minute detail due to the nature of my current job. I am
able to communicate complex information to individuals and groups, and make
presentations and respond to questions in both educational and workplace
setting. Skilled in giving and taking instructions and maintain active
listening, during times of pressure.
